Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a little tired and in need of redecoration, with views of the next building's wall, and lacking chairs. However, the service was friendly and helpful overall, except for one small hiccup with the front desk manager. The location was incredibly central, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, and historic sites, making it very convenient. The dining experience had its drawbacks, but the breakfast was good with special considerations for health safety. The facilities were decent, offering what was necessary for a comfortable stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms initially shown to us overlooked the square, which we felt would be noisy on a Friday night. However, the beauty of the rooms and common areas, especially with views over La Plaza, left a lasting impression.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The room was spacious with a very comfortable king-size bed and a great view overlooking the square. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very welcoming and taking care of everything from parking the car to quickly preparing a room. The location was perfect, right in the center of Mérida near all the attractions. The dining experience was excellent value for money, although a bit pricey for breakfast. Overall, a fantastic choice for a stay in the city.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms are beautifully decorated with Roman features, spacious, and comfortable, offering an authentic Spanish style experience. The service was top-notch, although a bit formal at times, and the location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the town square. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a good variety of Spanish dishes. The facilities were great, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms in the old part on the 3rd floor were quite tired for a 5-star hotel but maintained a high standard in authentic Spanish style, providing a comfortable and clean stay. The service was exceptional, with staff being extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The location, next to the plaza in the heart of the historic center, was ideal for exploring all the major attractions. The dining experience offered good quality, variety, and attentive service. Overall, a solid option with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, offering a lovely view over the central Plaza of Merida. However, they were a bit outdated with no TV upgrades since the 90s and poor signal reception. The service was excellent, with attentive and kind staff who even waived off our dinner charges. The hotel's location in the heart of Merida was perfect for exploring the city but was a bit warm for sleeping at night. The dining experience was delightful, with a wide range of choices, although some items were overpriced. The facilities were adequate, but there were some limitations in the room amenities.
